Prepaid Fuel Option and Related Scenarios

Prepaid Gas

Vehicles are rented with a full tank. You may purchase a full tank of fuel at the time of rental or bring the vehicle back with fuel at any level for convenience.

Price: Our prepaid fuel rate is anywhere between $0.10 to $0.20 cheaper per gallon than the nearest gas station.

Convenience: skip the hassle of finding a gas station before returning your car. With prepaid fuel, you can return the car without refueling.
Discount rate: the prepaid fuel’s discounted rate applies only if the service is added to the rental agreement at the time of pickup.
Full tank prepaid: No refunds are given for any unused gas.

If you return the car on full, we will refund the prepaid option; this gives you the option of utilizing the prepaid fuel or not.

The gas was not full when I picked up…..

If the car was not received with a full tank and the renter did not prepay for the tank, have the renter take a picture of the dashboard and have them email it over to us via cc@nucarrentals.us and use the rental agreement as the email subject.

From there, we can associate the current miles on the dashboard to note the account and have the renter return the unit with the same gas level as it was upon pick-up.

Keep in mind that all rental units are being pre-inspected prior to tying the unit to a contract using record360. We can refer to it to determine the gas-out level and instruct them to return with the same amount of gas when they close out the contract.

What type of gas do I need to put?

Our rental vehicles only take unleaded gas and premium unleaded for our luxury car classes. Please do not put DIESEL.

In rare cases where a special unit was rented and the type of gas should be described as Diesel under “current” as unit information on the upper right-hand side of the signed rental agreement copy.
